Meet the Keynote Speakers

Karyn Harvey brings over 35 years of clinical expertise in intellectual disabilities, complemented by a Ph.D. in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Maryland. She has authored three key texts, including Trauma and Healing, and contributes to various publications. Karyn's private practice focuses on therapy for individuals with intellectual disabilities, and she is a prominent  trainer on trauma-informed approaches for organizations throughout the US and Canada.
